Who we look for

We don't hire people for what they are; we hire people for what they will become.

There are a couple of traits that we look for because they form the foundation of a successful career with us.

🧮 Hard skills

  • Tech skills? Sure, but that’s not all. Of course, we have a set of requirements when it comes to technical abilities. We detail those in our job descriptions. They are pretty straightforward to assess. But they are only a fraction of the whole picture. Read on because what follows matters a great deal.

  • Problem-solving, not tools: tools are just instruments used to solve problems. Many of our clients don't care about the tools; they care whether their problems are solved or not. You'll need to stay curious about the latest tools, but never forget that they are a means to an end.

  • Attention to detail: minor errors can have big consequences. We expect you to go the extra mile to ensure that everything is complete and accurate. In other words: excellence starts with being demanding of yourself.

🧘 Soft skills

  • Ability to communicate: it is paramount to explain a complex process in an easy-to-understand manner.

  • Initiative: we are a small structure, so everyone has to do a little bit of everything. It is primordial to think proactively about your tasks and your role expectations.

  • Curiosity and ability to listen: problem-solving starts with asking the right questions. You can only do this by actively listening and remaining open to counter-intuitive data and diverging points of view. You will need to be versed in elementary business, sales, and support concepts and eager to learn quickly.

🚨 Signs this may not be the right fit

  • You don't like to interact with customers or do presentations from time to time.

  • Hearing feedback bruises your ego.

  • You are not comfortable with switching work environments frequently.

  • You just want a “job” but are not that interested in the bigger picture.

  • You prefer safe, predictable environments where there’s a methodology and a process for everything.

🫶 Mindset

  • Attitude: it is challenging to learn maturity, so we ensure that our team members possess the right state of mind.

  • Finally, we need people who give a s#!t. We're an entrepreneurial venture. It requires understanding our vision, plans, and accountability structure. We need to control our destiny, which means caring about the entrepreneurial project as much as your individual career progression.
