Julien Theys


As managing partner, Julien oversees the structural transition of the company from a start-up to a scale-up. 

He spent the last couple of years on innovation and management consultancy projects.

He is passionate about the latest trends and best practices in data visualisation. 

Julien holds a MBA from the Warwick Business school and a MSc in Management from the Solvay Brussels Schools of Economics and Management, where he currently serves as a scientific collaborator and coach in Entrepreneurship.

When he's not working or reading business books, you're likely to find Julien building Legos with his two sons.

Joëlle Van Damme


Joëlle joined Agilytic as a data scientist in 2017. 
She graduated Magna Cum Laude in Business Engineering from the Université Catholique de Louvain, as well as from the CEMS Master in International Management, before working as a Business Analyst in the banking sector.
She has a deep interest in data-driven decision making, and how understanding and leveraging the power of data can help companies to improve their position.
During her free time, Joëlle enjoys outdoor sports (and football in particular).

Laurent Philippe


Laurent joined Agilytic as a freelance IT Architect in early 2018.

He is Unix native, agile-minded with extensive knowledge in parallelism, benchmarking and real-time technologies. 

Laurent's contribution is especially valuable on large-scale, complex projects where cutting-edge architecture plays a fundamental role.

He holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Namur and is MIT certified in Social Physics.

Passionate by data modeling, he applies his abstraction potential to understand multi-agent networks, from atoms to humans.

Very concerned by data and model biases, he is the author of Fig Sci & Co, a trademarked model auditing methodology.

Laurent teaches statistics, data mining and big systems in the Master of IT architecture at Hénallux.

In his free time, he plays the flute, enjoys hiking and is always open to discuss paradoxes, epistemology and art history.

Nicolas Nicaise


Nicolas joined Agilytic in early 2019.

He holds a master’s degree in Business Engineering at the Louvain School of Management with a major in Financial Engineering.

Nicolas has a passion for data modelling, but what he likes the most is to leverage data to create new business opportunities.

In his free time, you will likely find him learning Japanese or traveling around the world.

Christophe Robyns


Christophe co-founded Agilytic after several years of consultancy and data analytics projects.

He is specialised in Customer Relationship Management, predictive modelling and advanced analytics tools and methodologies.

Christophe is a Civil Engineer in Applied Mathematics and holds a University Certificate in Statistics and Data Mining from the Université Catholique de Louvain

During his spare time, Christophe enjoys playing field hockey with his friends.

Jérôme Belpaire


Jérôme joined Agilytic as a data scientist in 2017.

He obtained his bachelor degree in Business Engineering at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven before finishing his master's degree at the Université Catholique de Louvain Magna Cum Laude

Jérôme is fascinated by the underlying value of data and the impact it can have on attaining goals.

During his free time he enjoys traveling to remote places and outdoor sports.

Diego Mechelynck


Diego joined Agilytic in early 2018. He has always been thrilled to use data to reach better results.

He holds a joint Master’s Degree in Quantitative Finance from the University of Geneva and the University of Louvain-la-NeuveMagna Cum Laude.

Prior to joining Agilytic, Diego worked as consultant in Financial Risk Management at Deloitte and then as Group Risk Manager for Interparking. Diego’s experience makes him equally comfortable at board level and in technical meetings.

When he is not at work, you will likely find Diego diving -20m below sea level, searching for the rarest aquatic species on this planet.

Roxane De Keyser

Roxane joined Agilytic as a Data Scientist in 2018.

She obtained master’s degree in research psychology at the KUL (magna cum laude) before pursuing her interest in research, data and statistics through a PhD in neuroscience.

She enjoys digging through data to gain insights to guide business decisions.

During her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors and playing the piano.

Elise Le Khac

Elise joined Agilytic as a data scientist in 2017.

She graduated Magna Cum Laude in Biomedical Civil Engineering at the Université Libre de Bruxelles.

She has a liking for data mining and machine learning methods.

In her leisure time, she enjoys travelling and playing violin.

Alex Schouleur

Alex joined Agilytic as a Data Scientist in 2018.

He holds a Master’s degree in Business Engineering from the Solvay Brussels Schools of Economics and Management. As former president of the Solvay Digital Society, he contributed to share the latest digital tech trends with students.

Business minded, he loves discussing new ways to boost companies’ growth with Data Science.

During his free time, you will likely see him reading, travelling or enjoying quality time with his friends and family.

Farah Martens


Farah joined Agilytic as a Data Scientist in early 2019.

She holds a master’s degrees in Clinical and in Research Psychology (magna cum laude) from KULeuven. Her interest in data analysis and data visualization was sparked during her PhD in cognitive neuroscience, which she obtained in January 2019.

In her free time Farah likes traveling (especially to places where she can scuba dive), or planning new trips, reading and enjoying good food in the company of friends and family.

Marc Lamy


Marc joined Agilytic as a freelance data scientist in May 2019.

He graduated as a Civil engineer from the Université Libre de Bruxelles and holds a Master in management from the Solvay Business School. After 20+ years of experience mainly acquired in the financial sector (JP Morgan, Euroclear Bank, BNPP Fortis) and in strategic consulting (McKinsey & Company), he took a year off to specialize in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, and, incidentally, to train as an alpine ski monitor.

During his spare time, you will likely find him training on an indoor ski track in Belgium or, preferably, discovering new ski resorts in Austria or Italy.
